Being a board member has connected me to a group of people (now friends) that help make the many challenges we face less of a burden. Now we face them as a team working together to find ways to make a difference for our remarkable Heritage Park neighbors. Simply put, we are better together!

Rashwan Willams works in Youth Career Pathways at Summit Academy OIC. Growing up in the community one of his favorite memories as a youth is playing basketball in Heritage Park, he now gives back to the community that shaped him. Rashawn studied Sociology at Minnesota State University, Mankato and has extensive experience in youth work, specifically in programming. Outside of his community service, Rashawn enjoys family time, graphic design, and watching insightful interviews.
